Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Research into the rising costs of healthcare revealed that many patient and financial needs could be met by preventive care. Preventive care can literally prevent health problems before they develop. The benefits of remaining healthy were also extremely cost effective. The trend continues to evolve to prevent illness and accidents, as often as possible, before they occur and the need for acute, chronic, or skilled nursing care is required.

Answer to Question 2

C
Feedback:
The placenta maintains pregnancy. The stomach simulates the gastric glands to secrete gastric juice. The heart maintains fluid homeostasis. The kidneys assist in blood pressure control.
