A bottle contains 16 ounces of water. The variable x represents the volume, in ounces, of
  water remaining in the bottle after the first drink is taken. What are the natural bounds
  for the values of x? Is x discrete or continuous? Explain.

points in some interval.

Answer to Question 2

The value 101 falls one standard deviation above the mean in the distribution. Using the Empirical Rule, 68 of the
days will have between 85 and 101 jobs submitted. Of the remaining 32 of the days, half, or 32/2 = 16, of the
days will have more than 101 jobs submitted.
