The MySQL Connector/ODBC is a downloadable utility that provides the MySQL ODBC 5.3.4 driver. For the Windows operating system, use the MySQL Installer for Windows. For non-Windows operating systems, download it from the MySQL development Web site, and run the installation. After the installation, the MySQL ODBC 5.3.4 driver will appear in the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
