Answer 1

Base salary = 12 × 40 × 4 = $1920
Commission earned in August = 2% × 75000 = $1500
Total pay for August = $1920 + $1500 + $1000 = $4420

Commission earned in August = 2% × 75000 = $1500
Total incentive pay = 7 × $1000 = $7000
