Tobin conducted a study in which he randomly assigned participants to two treatment conditions to test if there were differences by treatment on the number of classroom referrals.  He then interviewed selected students regarding their experiences with the two treatments.  In the results section of his study it is unclear at times from which data he has drawn his conclusions.  This flaw is most directly related to reporting of ________ research study.
