Tosho, an eighteen-year-old student with a moderate intellectual disability, is learning to live and work independently. His special education teacher is assisting him in learning to use community resources for transportation. He has a "best buddy" from the mental health agency who assists him in adjusting to apartment living. His parents live near his apartment and aids as needed. His vocational rehabilitation counselor has assisted him in finding community supported employment. His onsite job coach assists Tosho with learning the responsibilities of his job.
