Answer to Question 1

False
RATIONALE: Their play is very different because it changes to reflect their new level of
development.

Answer to Question 2

The easy baby tends to be lively but not excessively so; they are fairly calm in their
reactions to the unexpected and are open to new experiences.
The difficult baby is likely to be irritable, easily upset, and vigorously resistant to the
unfamiliar. Biological rhythms are difficult to regulate.
The slow-to-warm-up baby shows few intense reactions whether positive or negative.
Often this baby is referred to as passive resistant.
