January is a senior in high school and is a gifted student. January has conversations with imaginary friends. Her imaginary friends, according to January, told her to perform lewd acts in the hallway of the school. January complied with the friends' request and was suspended from school. January has become disorganized in her thoughts and in her behavior. She recently submitted a three-page paper to her Honors English class that consisted of the same one word repeated throughout the pages.
