Fungus got most of them right. (It's OK to give him the points.) However, no one is perfect.

Specificially:

7. Which hemisphere is responsible for generating most of the world?s research and development? (1 point)
Eastern Hemisphere
Northern Hemisphere
Western Hemisphere <---
Southern Hemisphere
-->I'd actually argue "Northern Hemisphere." If forced to choose between Eastern and Western (which I'm not), then I'd agree with you on Western. But it's pretty clear the answer is "Northern."

18. Which of the following can occur as a result of technological progress? (1 point)
greater dependence on technology as a means of survival <---
increase of time spent relating to others
a return to an agrarian (farming) based society
all of the above
-->That's an odd question since you're right about a greater dependence on technology. But the second option is also correct--increase of time spent relating to others. That's awkwardly phrased, but the growth in industrialism and then technology has meant that the 12-14 work day is no longer the norm; family time has increased markedly. So the first two are both correct. Is the third one? Not on the surface, certainly. Still, if it were, then "all of the above" would be the right answer. If it's not, then we have two correct answers. I guess, given the choice of the first two, I'd agree with your answer . . . but the second is, too. And if this is a sociology class, then maybe your teacher is expecting you to answer with the second one. Check your textbook on that.

Hope that helps.
