Description: Multiplexed fluorescent microbead assays. Multiplex analysis for the ENA antigens, Sm, RNP, SS-A, SS-B, and Scl-70. Each antigen is attached to a bead with a different fluorescence. The patient's antibody is shown binding to the bead that has Scl-70 on its surface. The use of a FITC labeled anti-human immunoglobulin makes the presence of this binding apparent.
