Description: The different grades of cellular differentiation as the cell moves from maturity and differentiation back into an immature cell that is dedifferentiated. Grading of differentiation is important during the diagnosis discussions before cancer treatment.

The different grade of cellular differentiation. Grades 1 and 2 are low grade, well differentiated, in which the cells are clearly separate. Grades 3 and 4 are high grade, undifferentiated, in which the cells are all squished together.
