Answer to Question 1

It is the smallest unit of a structure, depending on the purpose of modeling. A building block in one model may consist of multiple units in another model, or may become part of another unit in the third model. In the conceptual modeling of an information system, the smallest building block is a class. The smallest building block of an information system is an object.
