Ethics in nursing is the study of values and moral concepts as they relate to providing nursing care. Right and wrong behaviors (response B) are defined by the laws governing nursing practice. Responses C and D are not related to ethics.

Mental status assessments should be done on admission to determine a baseline and any time thereafter when staff members notice behavioral changes or functional status changes.
