(4) Steady the vial and syringe in the nondominant hand at eye level. Brace the little finger against the plunger. (5) Move the needle into the solution. (6) Use the dominant hand to pull back on the syringe's plunger. (7) Withdraw an accurate dose into the syringe. Remove the needle from the vial.
