Gases that are known to contribute to the greenhouse effect include carbon dioxide, water vapor, ozone, methane, halocarbons, and nitrous oxide. They are often referred to as greenhouse gases. The combined volume of these gases is approximately one percent of all gases in the atmosphere.

ANS:
Hydrocarbon output is controlled on automobiles by crankcase ventilation, exhaust gas recirculation, air injection, and such engine refinements as four valves per cylinder.
