Answer to Question 1


  • In a nation-state authority resides in the people of the state, rather than in the dynastic rulers of a kingdom.

  • Also, in contrast to kingdoms/empires, nation-states usually do not claim authority to rule by divine right.



Answer to Question 2


  • (A) the social structure a religion provides for the entire society or a religious community within a society; and

  • (B) daily/weekly worship practices, which include accompanying musical practices
