Answer: Answer should include detailed explanation of determine if students can hear the speaker, determine if an attention problem exists, determine if students understand the speaker, judge whether students can recognize and select important points from lectures and presentations.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Answer should include that guided notes are outlines of lectures with blank spaces of information left out for students to listen for and fill in during the lecture. This process helps decrease the amount of writing and increase the focus on main ideas.
