Answer to Question 1

Abuse to a child can have a traumatic and life-long effect. Children may become afraid to trust an adult and may have low self-esteem and live in fear that abuse will occur again. They may exhibit physical, emotional, psychological, or physical symptoms or signs as a result of the abuse. Abuse threatens a child's health, safety, and well-being.

Answer to Question 2

Four of the following: trust, predictable routines, consistent behavior, safe boundaries, confidence, and good communication skills
