Answer to Question 1

Answer: C

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Jet lag refers to the fact that while humans can rapidly travel across many time zones, our internal clocks require a longer time period to reset to the local time. Jet lag refers to feelings of disorientation and problems with sleep patterns. Melatonin secretion is a circadian rhythm that peaks near bedtime. Ingestion of melatonin at bedtime may pulse the brain with melatonin, thereby resetting brain clocks.
