Answer to Question 1

Storms's theory is contradicted by a study of the Sambia tribe of Papua New Guinea, where boys live communally and have sex with other boys from an early age until they are ready to marry (Stoller & Herdt, 1985). If Storms is correct and a male becomes homosexual because only males are available at the time of sexual awakening, then all male Sambians should be gay. However, almost all go on to lead heterosexual lives.

Answer to Question 2

False
