Answer to Question 1

Domestic business involves transactions that occur within a single country, while international business involves transactions that cross national borders. Students should learn about IB because most large firms have global operations and many small firms are expanding into the international arena.

Answer to Question 2

A code of ethics is a written statement indicating the values and ethical standards that guide a firm's actions. A code of ethics should be clear and in writing. It should address the major elements of ethical conduct relevant to the environment and business operations. It must be adhered to when a problem arises.
