The Supreme Court Reporter is very helpful in that it includes the most updated information and useful annotated material, including a synopsis and headnotes for each case. The set also includes a table of cases reported and statutes construed. As with the state and federal reporters, the headnotes found in each case are connected directly to the topic/subtopic tables in the US Supreme Court Digest.

Answer to Question 2

In using either online version of Shepard's or Keycite, you will receive the most up-to-date case validation available. Both offer many great and similar features that are easy to adapt and use. Basically, it may very well come down to your personal preference or learning the system that your instructor/employer provides for you.
