Depending on whether or not specified criteria are met, the IIf function will return a different result depending on the outcome of the condition. Student examples will vary. Some ideas include searching for whether or not an employee is scheduled to work on a given day, whether or not a product is out of stock, or whether or not a customer has redeemed a specific coupon.
There are many occasions when you need to test for multiple conditions. A nested IIf function is when one IIf function is placed inside another. This allows a user to evaluate a series of dependent expressions. Student examples will vary.
