What does your textbook have to say about children observing disagreements between their parents?
 
  a. It is unhealthy, as it can lead to a fear of conflict.
 b. It is to be avoided at all costs, as it is positively correlated with mental health issues in adolescence and emerging adulthood.
  c. When handled constructively through solution-oriented discussion, disagreements can actually reassure children that their families are cohesive and can handle problems.
