Sarcoma is cancer of the connective tissues such as cartilage, bone, tendon, ligament, aponeurosis, fascia, fat, or subcutaneous tissue; muscles; or nerves. Sarcomas grow rapidly and most often show anaplasia of their cells. Sarcomas usually metastasize via the circulatory system.
