You know that one leads to New York City and the other to Washington, D.C., but you don't know which one is which. There are two identical twin brothers there. You know that one always lies and the other always tells the truth, but you don't know who is who. You can ask only one question of only one of them to find out which road goes to New York. What questions would you ask?

Ask either one of them which way his brother would tell you to go. Go the opposite way.
