Ginger examines a painting of a stone path extending into the horizon of a field. Two sticks lie horizontally across the path: one in the beginning of the path and the other near the horizon. Each stick measures 10 cm in length, but the stick near the horizon appears much larger than the stick at the beginning of the path. Which illusion explains this phenomenon?
