Answer to Question 1

C
Explanation: C) Distributive justice and equity theory may both apply in this situation where equal is just not fair. Across the board raises make no discrimination between high or low performers. The low performers are not motivated to work harder because they still get a reward and the high performers get the same reward as the low performers, so they are not motivated to put in extra effort because they aren't rewarded for it.

Answer to Question 2

Right on time. Thanks a bunch.

Answer to Question 3

C
Explanation: C) Assuming that the speaker does behave and appear to be an authority figure, you could conclude they are an authority before their speech even begins by watching them talk with your professor. Because you form your initial impressions of someone in less than a second, you are more likely to award them authority then based on their professional attire and behavior as opposed to making that judgment after critically considering their talk.
