Answer to Question 1

Experts differ from novices in the greater extent of their knowledge base, in their ability to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information, to combine relevant information into meaningful patterns and perceive more patterns, to make decisions under pressure, and to complement their analytical skills with intuition.

Answer to Question 2

Students should be able to articulate the four stages of the learning process and discuss how they would accommodate each stage. They should also make mention of the learning style of the trainee and discuss how they would adapt their training to that style.
