Classes that result from functional decomposition usually lack attributes that are exposed through methods. In other words, attributes remain inaccessible to the outside world. The public interface of the class has only one operation. Object-oriented concepts and mechanisms such as inheritance, polymorphism, aggregation, or composition are absent.
