Answer to Question 1

C
The RN should be assigned to the patient in Sickle Cell crisis because of the complexity and instability
of the patient. Also, the outcome for the patient may be unpredictable. The LPN/LVN should be
assigned to the patient with Congestive Heart Failure since the client is 3 days post-admission and
probably stable. The NAPs can care for the patient with Scarlet Fever and provide diversional
activities for the patient who is depressed.

Answer to Question 2

A, B, C
