5. Transnational migration is the movement of a person between two or more countries, resulting in a new cultural identity.
6. An example is the braceros of Haiti, who migrate to the Dominican Republic for seasonal labor and then return to Haiti.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: The ideal answer will include:
1. A structured choice appears to be one made freely, but is in fact one dictated by economic or other circumstances.
2. In the text, the term is applied to the bracero system in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, where economic conditions in Haiti compel individuals to seek paying work despite unfavorable terms and poor working conditions.
