Answer to Question 1

medially

Rationale: When positioning a specific digit, position the part closest to the image receptor and keep the part parallel to the image receptor allowing the central ray to intersect perpendicular to the part. For the 2nd digit, from the pronated hand position, roll the hand toward midline or medially to keep the digit closer to the image receptor.

Answer to Question 2

internal rotation

Rationale: Rotating the arm medially until the epicondyles are perpendicular to the image receptor will position the lesser tubercle of the humerus in profile medially towards the glenohumeral joint space.

Your skin wrinkles if you stay in the bathtub a long time because the outermost layer of skin (which consists of dead keratin) swells when it absorbs water. It is tightly attached to the skin below it, so it compensates for the increased area by wrinkling. This happens to the hands and feet because they have the thickest layer of dead keratin cells.
