If you were to summarize the impact of Healthy People 2010: National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives on psychiatric nursing and the provision of mental health care, you would most likely say:
 
  A) Healthy People 2010 predominately ignores the importance mental health care needs due to the high cost of established methods of treatment. Consequently, mental health prevention and care will become low-level priorities in the near future.
  B) Healthy People 2010 stresses the need to effectively use inpatient psychiatric hospitalization to treat mental illness in the future so that community health resources won't be depleted to the point that health care needs of other populations are overlooked.
