Answer to Question 1

c

Answer to Question 2

The media must tread a thin line between unwittingly assisting the terrorists in their propaganda efforts and informing the public. Careful fact checking plus emphasis on the human
element and broad context should outweigh the impulse for media outlets to show graphic images and publish unverified information. It has been said that terrorism would not exist without the media, because terror would not be wide-spread. In addition, with the rush to get the information out fast, or to be the first media station to present new information, information can be presented that is not factual, or incorrect. News media has been known to get their information from Twitter and other unreliable sources.
