| Description: On a colorized mammogram, this patient has an adenocarcinoma of the breast, seen as a dense white mass in the center of the breast. Note the characteristic irregular edges of the tumor with infiltration into the surrounding breast tissue. Normal supporting fibers and lactiferous ducts in the breast are visible as individual white streaks, and the fatty tissues of the breast appear as dark blue areas.
