Description: This fluke, Clonorchis sinensis, is commonly called the Asian liver fluke. Notice the “wishbone” intestines. Between the “two bones of the wishbone” is the ventral sucker and at the tip of the “wishbone” is the oral sucker. Both are used for attachment. Again, food is absorbed through the cuticle, not the sucker.
