Description: (a) In a healthy eye, aqueous humor is formed in the ciliary process and drains through the canal of Schlemm. (b) In chronic open-angle glaucoma, the anterior chamber angle remains open, but drainage of aqueous humor through the canal of Schlemm is impaired.
