| Description: Western blot analysis of viral antigens. The nitrocellulose strips from the kit contain blotted viral antigens that have been separated by molecular weight using electrophoresis. (1) Strongly positive control sera. (2) Weakly positive control sera. (3) Test sera from patient. From right to left on the strips are the gp160 band, followed by the gp120 band, followed the p65, p55, p51, gp41, p40, p31, p24, and p18 bands. The patient shows a very light band at the gp160 region only.
