Description: Using the fingertips of one hand, make contact with an area on the back with high fascial restriction. To apply deep fascial mobilization, place the opposite hand on top of the first with fingers directly over each for reinforcement. Apply deep pressure through the skin and subcutaneous fascia until you reach the underlying deep fascia on top of the muscle layer. Shift your fingers away from you until tissue tension is sensed. Hold that tension 2–3 minutes or until a release is felt; apply in any direction.
