| Description: Pinch the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle at points along its length. Turn head to side to expose the side of the neck. Starting at the superior attachment, pinch along the SCM muscle between the thumb and the curled index finger. Note: Be careful to lift the muscle only and not blood vessels in the area.
