Description:
a. Human c-H-ras protein complexed with a nonhydrolyzable GTP analog.

b. Ras-GDP complex. Large conformational changes in the protein result from displacement of GDP by GTP.

Most prominent changes are in the regions called switch 1 and switch 2, both of which are in close contact with bound guanine nucleotide.
