Description: An antelope’s stomach has four chambers. Fermentation reactions carried out by bacteria, archaea, and protozoans in the first two chambers degrade cellulose. The fermented food is repeatedly regurgitated  and rechewed as “cud” before continuing on to the next two chambers.
