| Description: The 3 month old sleeps a lot more than the other two, with little time spent in the awake stage and a great deal of time spent in N 2, N 1, and R E M stages. The 12 month old has longer awake periods, but still spends a lot of time in the N 2 and N 1 stages. The 24 month old spends the most time away and the least about of time in the sleep stages.
