Description: At the bottom is the interstitial matrix, which contains integrins, cross linked collagen triple helices, proteoglycans, fibroblasts, and adhesive glycoproteins. Above this is a capillary, then endothelial cells, followed by integrins. Above this is the basement membrane, which contains laminin, type 4 collagen, and proteoglycan. Above this are fibroblasts, followed by another layer of basement membrane. Above this are more integrins, followed by the top layer, which is the epithelium.
