Description: Conduction System of the Heart. The cardiac impulse is transmitted from the S-A node to the A-V node via the internodal pathways and Bachmann’s bundle, and then on to the bundle of His and down the left and right bundle branches to the Purkinje fibers, which distribute the impulse to the rest of the ventricles.
