Answer to Question 1

Answers should reflect the needs of the elderly, especially those who are
institutionalized. Suggestions should include a variety of interesting activities from
which residents can choose, opportunities for residents to use their creative abilities,
and social activities calling for cooperation among residents themselves and with the
outside community.

Answer to Question 2

Answers should recognize the importance of staying active and independent,
involved with the community and family, and/or recognizing and compensating for
limitations as they arise.
