Answer to Question 1

Responses will vary. Other professionals should include physicians, nutritionists,
and exercise specialists. Recommendations could include incorporating fresh fruits
and vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, fish, and lean sources of
protein into the diet, along with at least 2 1/2 hours of moderate activity each week.
Other recommendations could include exercising at the workplace, offering
community nutrition and healthy cooking classes, and organizing neighborhood
groups to exercise together.

Answer to Question 2

The brain slows down as it ages and its total size is reduced. Reaction time slows,
multitasking becomes difficult, and sleep becomes irregular. Problems that are
associated with loss of brain cells include drug abuse; consumption of large
amounts of alcohol; excessive stress; and poor circulation.
