Answers should mention changes in appearance, which may be more difficult for
women in our culture; greater hearing loss among men; higher incidence of chronic
illnesses such as arthritis among women; and the special vulnerability of women to
breast cancer and osteoporosis. Differences in the way men and women experience
reproductive changes and express their sexuality should also be discussed.
