Answer to Question 1

The two most important social influences on health are socioeconomic status and education. Socioeconomic status is a strong predictor of having access to insurance and good health care. Education is a good predictor of living a healthy lifestyle and avoiding certain diseases. In some parts of the world, gender differences matter for accessing quality health care. However, if Lee and Dee live in the U.S. gender would not be a factor that impacts their health statuses. Lee is more likely to have more health problems than Dee since he is poor and uneducated.
